This white and gold choker is made of uniquely shaped beads. I would call them petal shaped... let me know if there is a correct word for this shape! I believe the beads are plastic. Very smooth and they lay nicely on the neck. A couple of them look lightly stained, maybe from makeup, at the back. I haven't tried cleaning this... just wiped it down.

Bought from the local estate of a very fashionable older lady who LOVED her jewelry!
